Trio Samsung Galaxy S Sold 100 Million Units. Extraordinary accomplishment was achieved by Samsung in three smartphone models of family Galaxy S. New present for 2 years and 7 months, a series of high-end Samsung smartphone is in total have sold more than 100 million units.

The first device of this series, the Galaxy S, to date has sold 24 million units since its launch in June 2010.

The second generation of the model, the Galaxy S II, was also a huge success. This one device sold nearly twice as many of the first generation, as many as 40 million units. This product is for the first time launched in the market on July 31, 2011.

Present at end, the Galaxy S III, was getting greater popularity than her siblings. In November 2012, Samsung announced the device has sold 30 million units. January 2013, two months after the announcement, the number of units sold has reached 40 million units.

Excerpted from The Verge, Tuesday (15/01/2013), sales of the Galaxy S III two times faster than the Galaxy S II. After five months of its launch in the market, the Galaxy S III has sold 20 million units. While the Galaxy S II was 10 million units.

Currently, the average Galaxy S series which sold every day is about 190,000 units.

Until now, the Galaxy S series is famous for its high-end devices. However, the Korean company has been trying to "throw" the assumption is to launch the Galaxy S III Mini and the Galaxy S II Plus. Is the presence of two such devices, sales of the Galaxy S series will be rising?
